hello again! the new year started in a rather shitty way, but it also brought me closer to some family, so that's fun at least lol. super short recap from december: i got a modded ps3 and my home entertainment system is now fully stacked! my home is ready to host 2026~ my friend finally after four long years agreed to selling me her finnish lain dvd set she never even watched... and i found my brother's silent hill 2, just don't know where i put my own ps2 but i'm happeh
aunt's old tv is from the same era as the ps3, i'm glad i kept it
in gaming news, ffxiv patch 7.4 has been so much fun just purely for the sake of glams... i've already spent hours just making slight variations of my favorite pieces (mainly the darbar ones, my absolute favorite set in the whole game, literally perfection)... only thing is i'm missing my shaders from when i still had windows 10 and mouse drivers, oh well. my other friend also got me to finally clear 50 floors of the palace of the dead so i'm ready to hunt for the feo ul minion! and trying to luck out in journals to get my hands on the ishgardian adventurer plates... it's hard... (has only completed one journal in her life)

i also committed the unimaginable, i spent 30€ on enstars... i pulled 30 times but no dragon mika so i bought two scouts just to get him with the coin system... hahaha... oh well it was my new year's gift (girl what is that). around xmas holiday i got back into catching up with anime, i watched gnosia and orb. gnosia had the mika-esque character design i'm SOOOO weak for, it's obvious which one if you look at the cast... orb was so freaking good, i got a slight interest for the middle ages now... but the main takeaway was how powerfully it conveyed learning through spirituality and beauty, i was really taken by the way the characters conveyed their convictions and wonder (strictly speaking of the learning process and curiosity, not the dubious acts performed in the name of them). it really reminded me how the most beautiful thing a person can do is learn.
what else. right i made a 2026 bingo for experiences i want to have! mostly art related and a bit of traveling. i guess that's that for now, i hope this year will bring everyone lots of art and inspiration, me included! this shall be a year of ocs and creating wonderful little worlds. oh and stay on hold for a post just about handora when i open a few more endings, i'm at 26 right now. takumi i'm coming for you. fuck man i keep yoyoing about if i like him or can't stand him
