just a small post to say things are looking up, my dreams are starting to actually take place in reality!! again i'll be for vague now but i'm feeling very hopeful after a long time. other stuff i can talk about are just catching up with media! finished the kdrama called flower of evil the other night, definitely didn't expect it to be that good, it really hit my feelings pretty hard. incredible cast, such interesting dynamics all over, theming gets wrapped up nicely in the ending. aaaaahh i didn't expect my heart to be so warm during a crime drama... in other stuff: tengoku daimakyou is SO good, the character actions feel very natural, lovely pair of mcs and the foreboding utopia mystery hooks you fast. the production quality hasn't dropped once since episode 1 and that kai ikarashi animation in ep 10 stood out immediately in the BEST way possible, that made me so happy.
on the musical side i've tried to get back to listening music more instead of video essays. while jungle playlists have had the upper hand for now, i feel like i stumbled across a diamond with megatera zero finally coming into my consciousness... raspy voice (!!! my absolute weakness), incredible vocal skills, so much emotion in his voice... it's that rare feeling when you hear an artist and it clicks with you immediately!! i haven't heard such a voice in so long, i'm about to go through everything he's posted hahaha. what stood out the most for me for now is "oh wow!" (THE BEAT!! WITH THIS SINGING!! WHAT!!! I'M LOSING IT HOW GOOD IT IS), "you & i" (again oh my god i love edm, high bpm makes my heart beat) and "煙、花火". i feel like these songs are going to define my summer the same way the omori ost colored my autumn last year hahaha. oh and special mention is valkyrie's meikyuu denshi kairou, i'm COMPLETELY obsessed and keep looping it... the changing instrumentals and song structure shifts make it so engaging AAAAH I LOVE IT SO MUCH... okay let's calmly wrap this up with a summery forest picture:
