welcome to the oc page! here's an introduction to my ocs, so far amassing six different characters (two are still wips). if you've been reading my posts, i've been showing sneak peeks from the rpg project i'm doing for them too, so please look forward to when i'm done with the first version of it!
the four most central characters are childhood friends with each other, having grown up in the same area. they still form their most core friendship group and actively stay in touch and get involved in each other's lives despite everyone having different directions in life. everyone is around university age, 18+.
saima is the youngest of the bunch, a quiet girl who lives in her own world most of the time. she lives in a worn down apartment complex by herself, with her older brother living in a nearby apartment in another house due to the area's low rents. she's fascinated by horror and photography, and uses her plentiful free time to roam around at night taking hopefully unsettling photos that she edits further to increase the scary factor (results unclear). her other major hobby is sewing disfigured (not intentional) plushies and making t-shirts with original, quite literal designs with a subject being depicted and then spelling out said subject. one could say she overall has the fashion sensibilities of a 12-year-old boy. she went to university for a few months before dropping out and decided to carry out her studies online instead.
venni is saima's big brother by one year, and they're often mistaken for twins which annoys them both quite a bit. he's a lot more out-going compared to his sister, rarely managing to stay still and thus often wanders outside instead of staying in his apartment, not wanting to stay within his thoughts. the siblings bicker often because of their clashing personalities. due to being considered an oddball as a kid, he would have spent his time alone if not for kaino, who in a way took him under his wing. this ended up with venni developing a borderline unhealthy, life-long obsession with him, and he's determined to keep his attention by any means. his disposition developed into a playful and flirty, often explicit demeanor. his academic background consists of going to a vocational school, not being book smart.
eine is the second oldest of them all, but by far the most responsible and put-together. she's a horticulture student with a study related part-time job on the side. she's calm, nurturing and looks after the whole group like an older sister despite not actually being one. she has her own separate friend group from school that has started to cross over to her old one. being practical and hands-on, her hobbies also extend outside, and she enjoys camping and taking backpacking hikes around national parks. she has a growing collection of house plants she takes care of and gifts to her friends from. while eine's kind and understanding, she's the one you'd least want to push over the edge and upset. there has been only one case of kaino managing to anger his sister in the past to the point where he now knows better in his fear to not repeat.
kaino is the oldest and also the most jaded one. he's eine's big brother by a few years, but gets nagged on by her. he's a heavy smoker with a nonchalant personality, preferring to leave the talking to others. kaino's style of life can be described as going with the flow, not having a particular direction he's aiming for. having been through a vocational school, he juggles different part-time jobs to have something to occupy his time with, not exactly having a career path laid in front of him. having a non-committal personality, he occasionally has short-lived relationships with girls he doesn't really care for. despite being rather irresponsible and sleazy, he still deeply cares for the people closest to him. his relationship with venni is a lot more complicated from his side, having more than two or three tangled emotions on the table. his more mature and responsible side shows through at times, however rare.
